Parish Council Elections

Are you passionate about your community? Do you want to help make a long-lasting change? Do you have innovative ideas for the council? Do you have concerns about a specific issue and want to do something about it? If this is you, then Bar Hill Parish Council needs you. We need people from all backgrounds and experiences who reflect their community to put themselves forward for election.

CAPALC will be hosting 2 prospective councillor sessions via zoom.  All prospective councillors from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are welcome to attend.

The election for the whole of the Parish Council takes place on 5 May 2022.  The election will be formally announced on 28 March 2022.  Potential candidates must submit their nomination papers during the nomination period which is 28 March to 5 April 2022.  Nominations must be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer at South Cambridgeshire District Council (Cambourne Business Park, CB23 6EA).  In accordance with the statutory timetable, the Returning Officer will stop taking nominations at 4.00pm on 5 April 2022.
